We have a new YOUTUBE video up.  We decided to try and do justice to the old Dire Straits standard "Sultans of Swing" with mixed results.  The mics were shot out, but the chemistry and surprise ending are too great to try and replace or revise...  so here it is LEAF jamming Sultan's Of Swing by Dire Straits.

Well LEAF is back!!!!

After about 9 months off we are in the studio working on our first full length release as a four piece with our two new members Jason and George.

As most of you know our first album was recorded with electronic drums and was performed by Jason Davis and yours truly, Thomas Mason.  Since then we have played a bazillion shows, and have congealed with our two friends Jason and George to create a really positive unit.  As we finish laying down the drum tracks, the real excitement lays ahead, tracking instruments and vocals.

Making up... Breaking up... Wake and baking up?

Yeah yeah yeah...  We know.  Make up your mind LEAF!!!!  We are... it's just taking some trial and error.  Which of course is the spice of life!!!!!!!!

Check out this new video we put up on Leafjam.com.  Its rough and the first time we played it, but its a peak at our album coming up.  Reverbnation Leafjam also has it up so it doesn't really matter.

And we have good gigs piling up for this spring.  We just booked a St. Patricks Day Gig at our old stomping grounds, Barley Mow Brewing Company.  We really miss playing here, but its also nice to take a break and not wear a particular place out.  So, Slainte!  Earlier this month Leaf is playing two LOST surf video premiers in St. Pete Beach and in Indian Rocks Beach.  Go to our calendar on the website for maps and details... Leafjam.com

BAT surfboards has just delivered their package of shirts and stickers to give out to fans at the "Lost Video Premier."  LEAF will be playing with their local compadres "OCEANSTONE" from 5 until close.  We will be playing a hour long sets, with 45 minute video clips in between each band's set.  And don't worry if you get their late, both bands will be alternating and sharing the stage all night.  Thanks again to BAT surfboards and The Sandbar for supporting this awesome one time event!!!

The Date of the premier is Saturday the 16th of February.  Be there and get some love and maybe some free stuff??? Who knows!!!

Leaf is playing this great event, in fact we are playing the whole string of LOST video premiers, but this is just the first one.  Lost Video Premier is going down Saturday February 9th down at the sloppy pelican in St. Pete Beach.  LEAFJAM will be commencing around 9 or so.  Get on down and enjoy the surf and sounds!!!
