School is back in session!   LEAF took most of August off to recharge the batteries and prepare for the Fall.  We will be in the studio this fall recording our second album which at this time has no title.  Who knows maybe we will let our fans pick a name.

I was thinking, LEAF, Chillosophy.  What do you think?

And keep praying for our bassist's wrist.  He's tough, but I just know it hurts when he plays for a long time and I hate seeing my bro in pain.

It's Been Awhile

Thanks to all for the last three months of shows!

LEAF is stoked to have been able to play so many show lately.  The Abilities Foundation Wine truck tasting420 at Barley Mows., countless shows at The BrewGarden, Sneaky's, and the Farmhouse of course, all have kept us too busy to even get on here and update.
Just wanted to say... One Love :)  Keep it simple...

Cancer Benefit Party LEAF

Wow... what a blast.  LEAF was invited last minute to play at a cancer benefit private party this last Saturday.  Our little leaf heads are still reeling from the insanely good time.  LEAF witnessed an alligator swimming in a pool, a cage with monkeys jumping around, and 30 foot tall flames!!!  YES 30 feet.  LEAF had a wonderful time, and met some of the greatest people we've met so far on our adventures.  To Brandon, Fraser, and Liz, whoset this shindig up... THANK YOU from leaf.  See you all at Cricketers perhaps.  :)

Leaf at Sneaky's Jan. 21st 2012

This Saturday we played Sneaky's in Largo Florida.  Thanks to the generosity of our Guitarist and Bassist, we had the power to run clean solid sound with ZERO issues.  A new soundboard, two 1000 watt amps and a ton of good love from the crown made for a rockin great time.  LEAF played four one hour sets, and an hour long Grateful Dead encore set in honor of our friend Tyler.  To list the songs played would be literally impossible.  But suffice to say it was a combination between "The Last Waltz and Woodstock."  No kidding

LEAF is enamored by Sneaky's manager/lead Bartender Sunny, and truly want to thank her.  By the way, if you want to go to a laid back, huge, fun ass bar with cheap drink prices, no bulklcrap, and lots of games to play... GO TO SNEAKY's  NOW!  Seriously, we rarely promote bars but this place is just really really cool.  The people who run it remind me of family.

Well we look forward to loading up Sneaky's again next month with another long night of jams and fun.  And if you missed the last one, don't worry, this time might even be better.  :)  One Love!

LEAF 2012

Well it's been a busy year so far for LEAF.  Lots of shows, lots of new material and tons of frickin fun.  I don't know if it's good karma coming back or the rewards of hard work, or both.  But lately it has felt like LEAF is somehow coming into a new era.  I guess if you throw enough crap at a wall, something will stick.

Our new drummer, who at this point has been with us longer than any previous drummer is an inspiration.  His musical knowledge and personal wisdom are invaluable to the band.  Very rarely do you meet people in life who you would trust with your own, but George (Just George) is one of those people.

Well have to run since we play later at Gator's on John's Pass and we need to coordinate some equipment loading before it gets too late.  One Love from LEAF.
